For Dalai Lama’s Safety, India Framing Policy for Chinese Pilgrims

With the growing popularity of the Buddhist spiritual leader, His Holiness the Dalai Lama and his followers around the world, especially in China, there are a large number of Chinese Buddhists visit India to meet or receive teachings from His Holiness in Dharamsala. The Central Government is working on a policy to be put into effect for these pilgrims for the Dalai Lama’s safety.

Team Tibet Knocked Out of World Football Cup 2018

After the third consecutive loss in the league matches of the Paddy Power CONIFA World Football Cup, 2018 in London, Team Tibet is now knocked out of the tournament as it does not qualify for the next rounds. The Tibetan team played against the strong team of Karpatalya on Sunday after which ended with final score of 5-1 against the Tibetan side.

This was one monsoon season, some twenty summers ago, where the hills of Darjeeling were soaked by non stop rain and surprised by sudden break of sunlight, refracting picturesque rainbows and people welcoming the sun-shower with folkloric songs of the foxes marriages. The fresh crystal rain drops from the washed green needles of the pine trees dip and where flash floods across the other side of hill, erupts into sudden waterfalls, a sight everyone, every time of this year yearns to see from my side of the village called Bhutia Busti.
