Dalai Lama Express Sympathy for Flood Victims in Japan

As parts of Japan is burdened by the unprecedented rainfall leading to a flood and landslides, the Tibetan spiritual expressed his sadness and sympathy for the victims in a letter to the Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. His Holiness expressed sadness over the loss of life, devastation of property and hardship caused to so many and prayed for the success of the rescue measures being taken.

Rise of China and its rather aggressive approach in its pursuance of ‘One China’ policy has forced a rethink on Tibet in many capitals
around the world including New Delhi. Indian government has also been distancing itself from His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
