Arunachal Student Group Holds Rally Against Tibetan Refugees

The Arunachal Student group who met the West Kemang Deputy Commissioner on Monday demanding deportation of Tibetans refugees into the the demarcated refugee camps among other demands on Friday carried out a rally in Bomdila. The rally was calling for the roll back of Tibetan Rehabilitation Policy 2014 from the state.

Liu Xia’s Escape from China Hints at a China Germany Deal

Liu Xia, widow of Chinese activist and 2010 Nobel Award winner Liu Xiabao has left China a year after her husband’s death. She has been under house arrest to varying degree since 2010. This development came along with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang’s visit to Germany. Liu Xia, a poet for whom Xiabao expressed his profound love many times during his ordeal in jail, left China for Helsinki on Tuesday.

Trump Administration is taking actions to ensure access of Americans to Tibet on a reciprocal basis. Mike Pompeo, the Secretary of State, said that he is taking action to ‘guarantee’ reciprocal access to Tibet based on principles on reciprocity.
