Arunachal CM Pema Khandu Arrives In Dharamshala

Arunachal CM Pema Khandu arrives in Dharamshala according to the report in the official website of Central Tibetan Administration (CTA). The Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh state of India arrived to the town this morning on a one day personal visit according to the report.

“Arunachal Pradesh CM Honourable Pema Khandu arrived here in Dharamshala for a one day personal visit. The CM will be participating in multiple events during his stay.” said the report in the Tibet.Net.

CM Pema Khandu was warmly received received by the CTA’ Kashag Secretary, Topgyal Tsering, Department of Home’s Secretary Chemi Rigzin, and the Additional Secretary, Karma Choeying, other officials of CTA and the representatives of Mon community.

As reported, the CM while is on a one day personal visit to the region, He said “One of our rinpoche from Mon area has taken rebirth in Ladakh area, for which they have organised a function here in Dharamshala. So that’s why I am here,” when asked by the reporters.

The report added that Arunachal CM Pema Khandu will be attending the enthronement ceremony of 10th Lhagyala Rinpoche at Kalachakra temple, Tsuglagkhang at Mcleod Ganj in the afternoon. He will also be visiting the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (TIPA) later today.

“Hon Pema Khandu last visited Dharamshala in 2015 to attend the 80th birth anniversary of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. He was the Tourism Minister of Arunachal Pradesh at the time.” concluded the report.
