Arunachal NGO Claim Tibetans Holding Key State Govt. Positions And Is A National Security Threat

An Arunachal NGO has alleged that there are Tibetans holding key administrative positions in the state government and they believe is a national security threat. Arunachal NGO has appealed to nations securities agencies to find out if Tibetans are holding key administrative positions in their state government.

“A non-governmental organization in Arunachal Pradesh has appealed to national security agencies to find out whether the state government has appointed “Tibetans” to key administrative positions.” said the report in the ANI news agency.

GAF Chairman Takam Tatung allegedly claimed that Nob Tsering is a Tibetan national and occupying the post of Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Chief Minister Pema Khandu during a press conference today.

“A Tibetan national in the CMO is a threat to the national security and national security agencies should cross-check the facts,” Tatung demanded during his interaction with the media according to the report.

The report also said that the NGO chairman has alleged that the wife of the longest-serving OSD to chief minister, Lham Tashi, is also a Tibetan and has both a Tibetan passport and an Indian passport. The NGO is reported to have filed an RTI to the respective authorities at the central and the state government and they awaiting an answer.

The North East Indian state has recently faced some criticism from some student unions for implementing the Tibetan Rehabilitation Policy formulated by the Union Government of India in 2014. However, the Tibetan Rehabilitation Policy while has already been successfully implemented in other Indian states like Karnataka, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh is yet to be fully implemented while it has one around seven thousand Tibetans in the four Tibetan settlement in the state.

    People like
    Takam Tatung who is on Chinese government payroll are more threat to national security than peace loving Tibetans.

      I think NGO and Takam Tatung should raise the situation of Siang River the lifeline of Northeast which is polluted with hazardous element not fit for human and animal consumption and being diverted to drylands of China, but they’ll not raise the issue becoz CCP itself is paying them to divert the attention for the bigger picture

    Tibetans, we must tell them properly about how much Tibetan people contribute to the growth of India Nation n it’s relationship from our Ancestor.
    Preservation of Buddhism by Tibetan which can prove that .
