A young and first generation Tibetan American has become the first Tibetan ever to run for the crucial political position in the United States, i.e., the US Congress. Karma is running against the Republican incumbent Steve Chabot in Ohio’s 1st Congressional district representing the Democrats.

London’s Royal Court Theatre Apologises to Tibetans
The Royal Court Theatre in London has apologised to the Tibetan community after it cancelled a play based on the real stories of Tibetans in India under Chinese pressure. The theatre has now committed at producing the Tibet play at a later date, which is suggested as, probably in the Spring of 2019.

Tibetan from India Visiting Tibet on Valid Chinese Document Jailed
A Tibetan monk who was visiting his families in Tibet from India was arrested after a month of his arrival and jailed for unknown charges against according to information coming from inside Tibet. The Tibetan monk, a refugee in India was traveling to Tibet on valid travel documents issued by the Chinese embassy.
