Joint Tibetan Rally Calls To Release Panchen Lama

Joint Tibetan rally in Dharamshala on Wednesday calls for the release of the Panchen Lama Gedun Choekyi Nyima. The largest Tibetan organisations organized a joint rally against China calling for the release of the 11th Panchen Lama who was captured by China at the age of six in 1995. The rally was led young Tibetans mostly born outside Tibet.

Tibetans do not identify China appointed Panchen Lama when they were asked about him says The Washington Post bureau Chief in Beijing. He told that Tibetans only identified the six year old Panchen Lama recognised by the Dalai Lama. They did not relate to the Chinese appointed Panchen; Gyaltsen Norbu despite Chinese propaganda.
