Becoming Miss Tibet is both an honor and a responsibility. I knew that representing Tibet is not the same as representing any other country, especially on a global platform. The Delhi High Court has directed the Central government to take into consideration the renewal of India born Miss Tibet director, Mr. Lobsang Wangyal irrespective of his Tibetan descent. The court said that it is the fundamental right of Mr. Wangyal as he has acquired the Indian citizenship by birth. Miss Tibet 2006 Tsering Chungtak is just 30 years old has suddenly passed away yesterday in New Delhi suffering from a heart attack. This sad news of her loss comes from the director of Miss Tibet pageant Mr. Lobsang Wangyal in the official website of Miss Tibet.
