Moscow Held French Man in Custody During World Cup Finale for Tibetan Flag

According to the social media updates from the French man who recently shared pictures of holding Tibetan flag during the semi final match of France and Belgium in Russia, the French football fan has been kept in the police custody during the final match of the Russia FIFA World Cup 2018 and has not been able to enter the stadium.

According to Hugues Picon’s social media updates right before the beginning of the final match between France and Croatia at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow, Russia, the Tibet activist has shared his fear of not being able to make it to the stadium to watch the match live after being taken for interrogation. Unfortunately later during the period of the match, Picon updated through his Facebook account that he is not able to watch the match and asked his friends for the score while at the same time sharing the picture of Tibetan flag in custody.

Hugues Picon who recently updated lots of pictures from the semi final match between France and Belgium where he sported the Tibetan national flag live from the stadium also wrote to call for help and told that Putin is afraid of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

    I am being told by a Russian friend that what this Frenchmen did was illegal because the flag was the wrong size allowed in that stadium for that event. It had nothing to do with which flag.
