Report: Niece of Tenzin Delek Rinpoche Reaches India

A blog article of the Free Tibet group mentions that Tulku Tenzin Delek Rinpoche’s family member, his niece Nyima Lhamo has escaped from occupied Tibet and reached Dharamshala in India on last Sunday.
Hope this escape would lead forward the remaining of the Rinpoche’s legacy.

China lodge protest over Obama meeting with Dalai lama

On Wednesday His holiness the Dalai lama was hosted by the president of the United States Barack Obama in the white house. The meeting happened behind closed door in the map room.
The White House also said that the president “reiterated the longstanding U.S. position that Tibet is a part of the People’s Republic of China, and the United States does not support Tibetan independence.” The meeting, significantly, took place in the White House Map Room, not the Oval Office where the president meets with foreign heads of state.

Wary Of Tibetan Uprisings China Clamp Down Tibet For March

Tibet as to no surprise has been closed for the month of March for the foreign tourists by China in order to isolate it from the rest of the world when the Tibetans commemorate their national uprising day which falls on 10th of March.
In addition to the closure tourism from foreign countries, the Chinese authorities in a bi-lateral meeting with the Nepali government officials, they have demanded them to restrict the Tibetans in Nepal from carrying out any pro-Tibet demonstrations.

A Monk Dies of Self-Immolation In Tibet On Same Day Of Dorjee Tsering’s Self Immolation In India

Whilst the shocking and unbelievably courageous act of self immolation for Free Tibet by Tibetan teenager Dorjee Tsering in India, according to Radio Free Asia, a Tibetan monk has died after setting himself on fire to protest against the Chinese authorities in Sichuan province of China held Tibet on Monday(29-02-16).
