The Miss Tibet pageant director Mr. Lobsang Wangyal has announced in their official website that the 2018 version of the pageant will be held in New York, United States. It was announced that the pageant has partnered with the Engage Entertainment who will produce and direct the 2018 Miss Tibet pageant event at the new venue in June this year.

Miss Tibet Director Gets High Court Nod For His Indian Passport

The Delhi High Court has directed the Central government to take into consideration the renewal of India born Miss Tibet director, Mr. Lobsang Wangyal irrespective of his Tibetan descent. The court said that it is the fundamental right of Mr. Wangyal as he has acquired the Indian citizenship by birth. The court directed the concerned authorities file the replies before August 22.
