Tibetan Writer Shokjang Released After 3 Years in Jail

A Tibetan writer who was secretly detained and sentenced to three years imprisonment by in Tibet was released after completing the sentence on Monday. Shokjang has been able to achieve the release from the prison after his detention before the sentence was credited to his three years sentence in February 2016.

Sharling Dhardon Launches Tenzin Phuntsok’s Debut Book

‘My Name Is Tenzin, I Am Not Chinese’ is the debut book of Doring Tenzin Phuntsok which is a memoir of his college life in India was launched by former Exile Tibetan MP, Sharling Dhardon today. The book launch event took place at the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives in Dharamshala today at three of clock in the afternoon.
