China Arrests 30 Tibetans in Suspicion of Having Dalai Lama Pictures

According to fresh information, more than 30 Tibetans have been arrested by Chinese police in suspicion of having pictures of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Following the arrest of seven Tibetans in Sershul in November, more than 30 Tibetans were detained. These Tibetans were imprisoned for more two weeks by the Chinese police between November and December.

Around 50 Tibetans detained protesting at Chinese Embassy in New Delhi today as the 19th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party began at the Great Hall of People in Beijing today. The members of Tibetan Youth Congress protested against the Chinese government led by Xi Jingping at Chinese Embassy in New Delhi and the police detained more than 50 of them.
