Tibetan Girl Awarded Gold Medal at Indian University

A young Tibetan girl has bagged a gold medal from the reputed Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda in Gujarat according to the updates coming from sources. The Tibetan refugee girl has topped in the exams of Masters in Arts securing the highest marks for History subject from the University and she has been honoured with the gold medal for that on Monday.

“Today on this 66th convocation of The Maharajah Sayajirao University of Baroda, Miss Tenzin Dolma has received a gold medal in the Masters in history. Therefore, immence of congratulations from RTYC of Baroda for your great achievement and hard work. Wish you have a successful career in future. Thank you for making us proud.” said the update in the official social media page of Regional Tibetan Youth Congress, Baroda.

Twenty year old Tenzin Dolma is an alumni of the Tibetan Children’s Village (TCV) School and she has yet again proved that Tibetan children are not lagging behind from others. Following the news update on the social media, messages of appreciations started to pour in for making Tibetans proud.

The President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, graced and addressed the 66th convocation of the Maharaja Sayajirao University in Baroda today, where the President applauded the University for institutionalising fellowships for students from economically weaker sections.
