Tibetan Girl Wins Bronze In International Thai Boxing Championship

Tibetan girl wins bronze in Thai Boxing Championship in Thailand. A Tibetan girl representing India at “The 2nd International  Thai Martial Arts Games And Festival 2017” held between 12th to 22nd March 2017 in Bangkok Thailand has won the Bronze Medal in Thai Boxing Championship.

“Got bronze medal in 2nd world championship of thai boxing in Thailand representing India, 56 countries participated in this.” announced the Tibetan Mixed Martial Arts fighter, Tenzin Pema in her social media page.

She also added in the post that she will work much harder to win the gold medal next time! While at the same time she has expressed her gratitude to her followers an the trainers, supporters as well.

The Tibetan MMA fighter and boxer had also won the Bronze medal in the Senior Women’s category of the 9th National Grappling Championship held at the Talkatora Indoor stadium in Delhi from 9-11 August, 2016. The event was organised by the Grapppling Foundation of India.

Hailing as the first Tibetan woman boxer, Tenzin Pema, 23, a professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) player is currently living in New Delhi. Since turning professional at the start of 2016, she has won gold, silver, bronze in State and National level fights.
