Tibetan Origin Teen Shot Dead In United States

Tibetan origin teen shot dead in United States on Tuesday inside a home at 14 Farragut Ave., Somerville  according to the report from The Boston Globe. The Tibetan origin teen was fatally injured from the shot at the scene that after taking him to the Mount Auburn Hospital, he was pronounced dead from the injuries.

“Around 5 p.m., the teenager was found with serious injuries at 14 Farragut Ave., where gunshots had been reported, police said. He was taken to Mount Auburn Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.” said the report in The Boston Globe.

“Authorities said a preliminary investigation indicated that the shooting was “not a random act,” and that the teenager was inside the home with other people he knew. The teenager’s identity was withheld pending family notification. ” the report added.

Tenzin Kunkhyen, 16 year old son of a Tibetan family who moved from India to United States was tragically cut short of his life at such a young age and his parents are in absolute distress of the fact. The report says that though his is a son of the Tibetan family from India, he was in many ways ‘a son of Somerville’.

Tenzin has a half day school on Tuesday, the police arrived to the spot of shooting around 5pm in the evening after they were reported of gunshots. Soon the police took fatally wounded Tenzin to the Mount Auburn Hospital where he was pronounced dead due to the injury of the gunshot in his chest.
