Tibetan Teen Shooting Suspect Arrested In Arlington

Tibetan teen shooting case suspect arrested in Arlington on Tuesday afternoon following the police quest in the fatal murder on August 29. The white teen was name as the prime suspect of the fatal shooting case of Tibetan origin teen Tenzin Kunkhyen last Thursday by the Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and  arrested yesterday.

“Jonathan T. Perry, 17, of Somerville was named by Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan as the primary suspect in the shooting last Thursday. According to reports, Perry was taken into custody without incident after being found hiding out at the Chestnut Manor apartments in Arlington.” said the report in the Somerville Times.

The report said that the prime suspect of Tibetan teen shooting was arrested by police in Arlington on Tuesday afternoon and it also added that police spotted his car in North Andover over the weekend. It also added that police had found weapons in Perry’s vehicle.

“Perry is being charged with manslaughter, carrying a firearm without a license, and aggravated assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. He is being reported of having an active warrant for his arrest out of Worcester Juvenile Court.” added the report.

The investigation of the fatal shooting case in which the Tibetan died from the gunshot injury in chest said the shooting was not random.

Tenzin Kunkhyen, 16 year old son of a Tibetan family who moved from India to United States was tragically cut short of his life at such a young age and his parents are in absolute distress of the fact. The report says that though his is a son of the Tibetan family from India, he was in many ways ‘a son of Somerville’.
