Dalai Lama Doing Very Well, To be Discharged Tomorrow

The Tibetan spiritual leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama is now doing very well and he will be discharged from hospital tomorrow. The spokesperson to His Holiness the Dalai Lama has told news agencies on Thursday that he has been cured and doing very well.

Tenzin Taklha, personal spokesperson to His Holiness the Dalai Lama explained while speaking to AFP that His Holiness is doing very well and he was in his normal routine this morning!

“Generally, his holiness is fine. He is doing very well. Still on medication but he is doing very well and will be discharged,” said Tenzin Taklha, the Dalai Lama’s personal spokesman, “This morning he was in his normal routine. He was doing some exercise… Basically he is cured but will continue his course of medicine,” Mr Taklha added according to the NDTV report.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama was rushed to the Max Hospital New Delhi on Tuesday morning from Dharamshala when he faced light cough and chest pain. After being admitted at the private hospital, His Holiness has recovered from the chest infection.

People from around the world offered their deep concerns and prayers for speedy recovery of the 83 year old spiritual leader. Many Tibetans have also urged for the providing more time to rest for His Holiness by extensively minimizing public engagements that he presently engaged with.
