His Holiness Dalai Lama Embarks on Delhi and Mathura Visit

The Tibetan spiritual leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama on Thursday noon left from his residence in the Himalayan town of Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh. His Holiness embarked on a visit to Delhi and Mathura, where engagements of delivering public talks to students, government officials, scholars, etc. are scheduled.

In the rainy weather of Dharamshala, devotees braved incessant showering of the late monsoon rains and flocked along the road from the Main Temple in Mcleod Ganj to receive a glimpse of His Holiness the Dalai Lama leaving for the airport. Tomorrow His Holiness is scheduled to deliver a talk to students at the Shri Ram School in Delhi.

According to the schedule published in the official website, His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s talk on “Educating the Heart & Mind” to over 2300 students from 50 schools hosted by SPIC MACAY at the Shri Ram School in New Delhi, India on September 20, 2019.

The report by Central Tibetan Administration explained that on 21 September, His Holiness will interact with a group of scholars, intellectuals and government officials at Taj Mansingh hotel.

From 22 to 23 September, His Holiness is scheduled to visit Sri Udasin Karhni Ashram in Mathura. His Holiness last visited the Ashram in March 2017 where he was hosted by Swami Karshni Guruasharanandaji Maharaj. On 25 September, His Holiness will speak at an interreligious event at the Harijan Sevak Sangh, Gandhi Ashram, said the report.
