President Donald Trump led government of the United States has approved the $17 million funding support for the Tibetans in exile and Tibet. Donald Trump has signed the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2019 on Friday and the fiscal year 2019 funding will be sanctioned through September 30.

As US Approves Funding for Tibetans, China Fumes

The United States Congress on Wednesday last week approved the Omnibus Bill that included a total of $17 million funding in aid to the Tibetans both inside and outside Tibet. Following this approval, China has accused the US government’s financial support for Tibetans as a latest move for some political forces in the US to pressure China.
