First and foremost, I will introduce briefly of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. H. H. the Dalai Lama is Tibetan spiritual leader. He was born in Domey Amdo Takster on 6th July 1935. His childhood name was Lhamo Dhundup. Chokyong Tsering was his father and Dickey Tsering was his mother.
He has been bestowed with many awards such as Nobel Peace Prize, Toronto Gold Medal etc. He is one global person and is known for his kindness and compassion.
On the morning of 6th July,we all assembled at Norbu Ri where we raised flag for long live of His Hoiness. We all gathered here in community hall. Cake-cutting, speech, dance, ete., filled joy and warmth in many peope’s heart. We laughed, danced and made merry.
As a kid this holds a very special place for me. It makes me so gappy to see all my people together happy and celebrating. This celebration went almost for 4 days. We had really enjoy his 80th birthday.
