Dalai Lama Teachings in Bodhgaya Confirmed for February 2020

The Tibetan spiritual leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s teachings in Bodhgaya has now been confirmed for February 2020. According to the official publication of His Holiness’s schedule, two days of teachings is scheduled to take place in the holy Buddhist place in the beginning of February next year.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama will be giving a teaching of Thirty seven practices of Bodhisattva on February 2 and then confer an Avalokiteshvera Initiation on the next day in Bodhgaya. This schedule will be followed by attending the international conference on Buddhism at Rajgir according to the official website of his office.

“His Holiness will give a teaching on Gyalsey Thokme Sangpo’s Thirty-Seven Practices of a Bodhisattva (laklen sodunma) on the morning of February 2. He will then confer an Avalokiteshvera Initiation (chenresig wang) on the morning of February 3.” says the schedule publication in the official website of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s office.

The next schedule following the teachings is published as, “His Holiness will participate in a 2-day international conference on Buddhism in the mornings organized by the International Buddhist Confederation at the Rajgir International Convention Center.”

The Tibetan spiritual leader will be visiting Maharashtra, Goa and Karnataka in the coming days. From the given schedules, His Holiness will be spending more than ten days at the Tibetan settlement in Mundgod where two of largest Tibetan Buddhist centers; the Drepung and Gaden Monasteries are situated.

    I would like to know when the Dalai Lama will be visiting the Uk again? My father is 88 years old and would love to hear him teach.
