His Holiness the Dalai Lama to Visit Japan in November

The Tibetan spiritual leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama is scheduled to visit Japan in November this year according to the schedule as published in the website of Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama (OHHDL). The visit to Japan in coming November is scheduled to witness three days of teachings by His Holiness in the city of Yokohama.

According to the scheduled timeline, His Holiness the Dalai Lama will give public teachings in the mornings of November 14 and 15 followed by conferring of  Avalokiteshvera Permission Initiation in the morning of November 16 later this year.

“On November 14 and 15 mornings, His Holiness the Dalai Lama will teach on Je Tsongkhapa’s Praise to the Buddha for His Teachings on Dependent Origination (tendrel toepa) & Kamalashila’s The Middle Stages of Meditation (gomrim barpa). On November 16 morning, His Holiness will confer an Avalokiteshvera Permission Initiation (chenresig jenang).” said the program schedule as published in the website of OHHDL.

It also added that these teachings are being organized at the request of the Liaison Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama (NPO Tibet House Japan) and being held at the Pacifico Yokohama (National Convention Hall of Yokohama) and a link for further information is given as www.tibethouse.jp/event/2018/teaching181114_en.html.

The Tibetan spiritual leader is also scheduled to visit Rotterdam in Netherlands and Darmstadt in Germany in the month of September prior to landing in Switzerland for a three days visit. Prior to reaching these three European states, His Holiness will begin the visit to Europe from Sweden where he is scheduled to give a public talk on September 12. This visit will be the second foreign trip for the Tibetan spiritual in 2018 after his recently concluded visit to the Baltic States.
