Penpa Tsering’s Ousting Should Not Be Protested

Penpa Tsering should leave from the office as directed without protest. I doubt he has has any goodwill towards the kashag and even if he made no mistakes, Kashag could still toss him out of the office if he doesn’t come up to their expectations so that they can actually achieve their target for the larger cause of Tibet. I fully support the Dr. Lobsang Sangay led Kashag here.

I think it is very unlikely that Kashag would take a U-turn on Penpa Tsering’s decision. As far as rumours go, Lobsang sangyay supporters are even planning to protect against Kashag if Penpa Tsering was retained as NA representative or accorded any other other such post in the US. He has shown very arrogant attitude to CTA and refusal to make any statement to calm down the protest of 27/11, it can’t be right if such a man is allowed to enjoy the chair of a representative.

I hope that Kashag resist the pressure of the vocal minority who are creaking this unnecessary drama to undermine our democratically elected president. If Kashag does so, then it sets a precedent where president can never dismiss anyone who has served 10+years whenever necessary. Always a section of public will say , ‘it is unfair. He has served 10 years, 20 years ‘ and so on. We don’t want to see that.

So I think Penpa Tsering should call for protesters to stop the protest which he unfortunately he has not done till now. He only warned that ‘ there will be protests and chaos’ on the fateful night of his dismissal. And the cue was duly taken by raging divisive individuals like Mila Rangzen and Thinley Kelsang, and organized a campaign that eruped on 27/11. What a shame!

I would like to therefore request Penpa Tsering la to please pack up and leave the office and the people who are making all those protests to stop for the greater cause of our country.

yes…. 100% supported your message… rightly said. LS is democratically elected and some few groups undermine it … no way ! If this turns out bad then I am afraid it will always turn out bad. seal your fate – what do you want ? majority interest or an individual interest ?

Shameless people specially that two women. Very sad omg. I can’t believe when I saw this video, how they speak to the nugdup Tsering la in the Tibet office. Penpa Tsering la is just sitting with his supporter and letting them shout on Mr nugdup Tsering la.

What a childish article? In all the interviews since the termination order, PT has said time and again that he accepted Kashag’s order to fire him and that he would clarify after Nov 30, which is the last day of his job as NA rep. Also in several interviews, he requested his supporters to think of the bigger picture and participate in the 10 Dec rally and etc. What more do you want him to do now? Orders after order….No more order now, ok. He is not under japunon system anymore. He is a free man.

Why should pempa TSERING request people from protesting against Kashag? And he is in fact packiing up and leaving so y would you say shut up and leave, it is people like you and your attitude that we cannot stand any longer. Trust me if there is a role reversal n if pempa TSERING had fired Lobsang senge then all his supporters would have broken glasses n throw stones at Kashag. You guys always did that even for a petty soccer match be it in Dharamshala or Bylakuppe. So shut the fuck up and let people do what is their democratic right

  Democratic does not mean have right to replace wrong as right and right as wrong. Take the principle of what is right and wrong and on that basis one can speak without fear. I totally don’t accept those people protesting against kashag and abusing Ngodup Tsering la. These protestor has no validiction at all what so ever. Protesting for just replacing a staff member and not a political leader. It was total a laughing stock at those protestors. Penpa Tsering was appointed by kashag as representative of CTA in DC office, just an employee of kashag and he was not elected by people for DC office.
  
  The reality was Sikyong has clearly explained during his meeting in Canada for obvious reasons to replace Penpa Tsering la. Please don’t bring your version of democratic under that do what ever one can do by bringing wrong to replace right. Wrong is wrong and right is right.
  
  Penpa tsering will never dream to fire Lobsang Sangay as LS will adhere to the chain of command if he was representative in DC office. That is the difference between LS and PT.

Respecting the Kashag’s decision penpa tsering himself has not protested so far. On the contrary he has most gracefully handed over the office, which should be appreciated. I wonder why the writer here tried to show or create picture where penpa tsering himself is trying to retain the office or demanding other portfolio.
The writer no offence but content hold no weightage of any intelligence. I would only add that please do your homework. But I want reiterate FYI that Penpa Tsering is no ordinary individual staff or person, he is a former speaker of the TPIE and any public figure especially those who attain such a post continue to hold the last highest ranking and deserves the respect in the community. Kashag on the other hand being epitome of the Tibetan community should have foresee the implication of such rash decision. They could have resolved the issue whatsoever they might be without such a social unrest and distrust that is brooding now within our community. But Sangay’s nature being vindictive couldn’t see beyond his own ego and went further to defame public figured penpa tsering. Under such for instances both penpa tsering has all the responsibility toward his supporter and individual right to clarify the accusation. If anyone who has objective should object the rashness of Kashag’s decision and failure to foresee the unrest that is straight result of it. As a neutral netizen without supporting either side, and more being a responsible citizen of Tibet, I strongly condemn irresponsibility of kashag and creating this huge division among the community. If the writer has little bit if intelligence he/she should know that consider present situation of Tibet, we can not afford such an extravagant rift among ourselves.
Where is the quality of leadership rest now? Whether ousting is right or wrong, who is responsible for defamation of a public figure? Those of penpa supporters not the subject of kashag? Is kashag not responsible for each and everyone of Tibetan? Or Sangay is leader only of those who support him?

Social unrest was created first by Dhondup choephel of mila rangzen. Then people got carried away bu PT supporters. Sikyong and Kashag has never created social unrest. Kashag carried out normal practice and routine what it need to be done for the best interest of Tibetans and for CTA.

One of the most dumb ass article I have ever came across. Better listen both side story and than write some readable article. It’s clear vindication of misuse of power that was clearly exposed on 12-5-2017.
