Suspended Lama Tenzin had a lover too according to the reports surfaced following the Dalai Lama’s US gatekeeper’s suspension. There is a report which claims that the Tibetan monk who worked together many influential people in the US to facilitate the bringing of His Holiness the Dalai Lama to the country for philanthropic events and one of them became his lover in the past.

“Readers of Frank Report might recall that Sara Bronfman introduced the ‘Venerable’ Lama Tenzin Dhonden, the self described ‘Personal Emissary for Peace for the Dalai Lama’, to Keith Raniere around 2008.” said the report in the Artvoice.

The report added that three of them worked together to bring the Dalai Lama to Albany in 2009 and reportedly Sara Bronfman and the Lama Tenzin, a monk, became lovers for a time.

Tenzin Dhonden is the Dalai Lama’s self described ‘personal emissary’ to United States and he has been suspended from the position over allegations that he abused his role and corrupted from charity. The allegations are very strangely questionable on both sides of the coin; while the accuser Daniel Kranzler, a Seattle businessman and philanthropist complains about unfair demand of payments after more than a decade’s time, Lama Tenzin defends that though figures of amount demanded are not as alleged, every payment has been used for the expenses of the programs according to his lawyer.

However, Lama Tenzin was suspended from his duties as secretary and trustee of the Dalai Lama Trust, a charitable organization chaired by the Dalai Lama for the pending allegations against him.

“Sara Bronfman met the Venerable Lama Tenzin Dhonden in Idaho in 2007. He visited the heiress in Albany in 2008. Sara encouraged Lama Tenzin to invite His Holiness the Dalai Lama to Albany to meet and work with Keith Raniere. The Dalai Lama agreed to a four day visit in April 2009.” described the report about their past. The two were said to have stayed alone at Sara’s houses in Albany and New York in the part as reported.

The report also stated in conviction that despite the allegations against the Buddhist monk of corruption is yet to be declared, it is certain that he broke his second vow of celibacy as Buddhist monk with Sara Bronfman!

Tibetan lama are some kind of joks in this days. I am tibetan to live New York and here in New York 90% ex monk and I do have bad experience with them for long time. Simple living high thinking just words in tibetan monk life, these day tibetan monk needs high facility and very fashional with unknowlaugeable about bhuddhisam.

Sara Bronfman has been getting a lot of attention lately for all the wrong reasons. She has apparently been bankrolling a cult NXIUM for a long time. This cult brands women and designate them as slaves. Apparently Tenzin Dhonden partnered up with Sara and The cult to bring His Holiness The Dalai Lama to Albany. The cult wanted the trip to bring more legitimacy to the group. A lot of these Tibetan rinpoches either mooch money off or are in bed with these cult. We need a reformation within Tibetan sangha now

Many in the West who have worked diligently to support the work of His Holiness the Dalai Lama have been hurt and damaged by the manipulative, devious and self-serving behavior of “Lama” Tenzin, the self described “Peace Emissary” of His Holiness. If one is famous, a celebrity or very rich then “Lama” Tenzin will immediately arrange a private audience with His Holiness and provide repeated access to His Holiness.

It is well-known that if you are involved in projects, events, etc. with His Holiness and don’t acknowledge “Lama” Tenzin or acquiesce to his demands that he will sabotage the event, prevent access or say disparaging remarks about you to others in the inner circle of His Holiness.

Clearly, the events described with Sara Bronfman in the Variety Fair article are well documented. But there are numerous examples such as the embarrassing partnership with Jean Lourdes (a liar, fraud and celebrity seeker like “Lama” Tenzin) resulting in the disastrous Los Angeles event a few years ago and the more recent disastrous and embarrassing 80th birthday event that “Lama” Tenzin was in charge of for His Holiness in Irvine. All of these well documented events and a number of others are embarrassing to His Holiness and his ultimately legacy.

Sadly, the facts regarding “Lama” Tenzin’s behavior and lapses as a monk have been told to His Holiness repeatedly but because of the fact that one of His Holiness’ senior attendants is “Lama” Tenzin’s teachers and feels toward him like he is his son, the facts have been ignored. The attendant to this day remains loyal to “Lama” Tenzin and believes the lies and misleading statements that “Lama” Tenzin has told him.

Thankfully and finally it appears that something is being done to stop this unseemly behavior and hopefully result in him having no further access or special treatment.

Way to go Monk!

Nice way to disgrace H.H. the Dalai Lama’s reputation, Tibetan Reputations and a black spot towards our Buddhism. All these monks are causing so much trouble in recent years.

Look at Lama Lobsang Dargey of Kriti Monastery now serving 5 years prison sentence in US federal prison with 4 years of Probation thereafter, when he defrauded 130 million dollars of investor money. Buying 4 million dollar house, driving $600,000 Bentley car. buying $300,000 pieces of jewelry, $150,000 yearly club membership., spending $30,000 in the casino in one day.

Look at Sogyal Rinpoche, who has been accused of Physical, emotional and psychological abuse of students.
Sexual abuse of students.
Lavish, gluttonous, and sybaritic lifestyle, utter disgusting.

now Lama Tenzin and so on. This shit will never end as long as we as a society let these perpetrators do whatever they want in the name of Buddhism.

I think it’s our Tibetan PEOPLE /society’s fault, due to our such stupid blind faith, since we have so much respect for HH The Dalai Lama that we end up giving such a high regards and respect for every third class monks out there., and these monks wannabe cease the opportunity.

Nowadays every newborn is some kind of reincarnation of some previous lama, it has become comical and business.

Westerners (White People) are also to be blamed when they meet a monk and blindly fall/follow all the sweet-talking Monks, they still have this some kind of nostalgic sentimental ties longing to be part of and still lingering in the Hollywood movie “The Lost Horizon” and Heinrich Harrer’s “Seven Year in Tibet”

Let this be a lesson “ALL MONKS ARE NOT DALAI LAMA” “You are not Heinrich Harrer nor are you Robert Conway in Shangri-La, Wake up. Before you lose your money and wife to these perpetrators. They are mere opportunists under the sacred maroon robe, claiming to be practitioners and diligent disciples of Dharma.

If you keep following and keep falling for it, then you are to be blamed and you are the idiot.

  I see valid criticisms in your comment which should be taken to heart by sincere religious practitioners, especially those entrusted as gatekeepers of knowledge and access to inspirational figures. I disagree with blaming “white people” for trusting individuals designated to be trusted by the religious establishment.
  
  You criticize white people for romanticizing Tibet while citing Hollywood movies. This is a gross dismissal of the faith of millions of serious practitioners simply because of their skin color and a presumed shallowness arising from your own racial prejudice.
  
  The failures of persons holding religious office are not an excuse to unleash racial prejudice, anger, hatred, envy and maliciousness towards the individuals abused by those failures. Nor are those failures an excuse to criticize that fallen practitioner, beyond a detached presentation of facts.
  
  It is not surprising when a spiritual practitioner is allured by sex and money and becomes degraded and consciousness due to that attachment. Considering 99% of people in the world are simply slaves to the pursuit of these things, you may consider looking at your own consciousness before attacking someone who at least tried and yet failed. Such an individual may have lasted years in a situation of temptation in which you would not last minutes.
  
  That does not excuse the misuse of spiritual position, but your attitude of hatred and condemnation is another form of fall down for yourself. If you continue such criticism you may be born as a “fallen Lama” in your next life. This will help you learn from the experience firsthand. Then you will develop compassion for all of those involved.
  
  Also, you claim the Lama who views the individual in question is bewildered by fatherly affection and thus improperly defending him to the Dalai Lama. You have no proof for this and are speaking false conjecture about individuals you do not know. You have an attachment to a religion which professes compassion as the highest virtue, yet you cannot recognize compassion when you see it. Indeed, you criticize it.
  
  That is not to say that when an individual falls from spiritual purity or abuses followers they should be allowed to continue to do so, nor should such abuses be tolerated or covered up, nor should persons be afraid to become whistleblowers, nor should whistleblowers be socially penalized. Monetary compensation should be offered and steps made to prevent Lama’s being connected to money and women. Still you criticize individuals and situations you know nothing about and you criticize from anger and hatred rather than knowledge, peace and compassion.
