Arunachal Tibet Support Group Urge China To Start Dialogue With Tibetans

Arunachal Tibet support group urged the Chinese government to start dialogue with the Tibetan administration in exile based in India. The Tibet Support Group of Arunachal Praddesh (TSGAP) has called upon the Chinese government to find a final solution to the Tibet issue last week while its president met with the Dalai Lama in New Delhi.

“TSGAP in a Press release on Friday stated that His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama had said that the Tibetan Government in Exile was not demanding full independence for Tibet and the Tibetans are not against the people of China.” said the report in the Arunachal Times.

“Instead they just demand granting of genuine autonomy on win-win- basis under the middle way approach of the Tibetan Government,” the release said. “The Tibet Support Group of Arunachal Pradesh (TSGAP) has urged Chinese Government to re start dialogue with the Tibetan Government-in-Exile for a final solution.” said the report in the Arunachal Times.

While the TSGAP’s president Gicho Kabak met with His Holiness the Dalai Lama, while His Holiness expressed gratitude to the group’s support and solidarity for the Tibet cause, His Holiness also emphasized the group for upholding and preservation of faith, culture and language of every race by involving scholars, youths and students of college and universities through seminars and publication of magazines, the release said.

The TSGAP assured His Holiness its support and solidarity to the Tibetan cause by means of awareness activities like seminar and publication of magazines till Tibet issue is resolved. TSGAP vice president Tanyong Tatak and Secretary General Anok Wangsa were part of the delegation, according to the press release.
