Tibetan Girl Bags Gold Medal in Master of Laws from University

A Tibetan girl has bagged a gold medal in the Master of Laws from a university in Dehradun, India. According to the report by Department of Education, Central Tibetan Administration in Dharamshala, a Tibetan girl has gold medal for her masters program in law during the university convocation ceremony held this month.

“The Department of Education (DOE), Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) is thrilled to announce that a DoE Scholarship holder, Ms Tenzin Tseten from IMS Unison University won gold medal in her master’s program of LLM. Tseten was awarded the gold medal at the University’s convocation ceremony on 2 November.” said the report published by the Department of Education on Friday.

Tenzin Tseten belongs to Norgyeling Tibetan Settlement in Bandhara, Maharastra and she completed her school from Sambhota Tibetan School, Paonta. After completing her Bachelor of Arts in LLB from JSS Law College Mysore, she has pursued her LLM program at the IMS Unison University, Dehradun.

Tseten is a holder of the scholarship provided by Department of Education, CTA and she has expressed her gratitude towards the organisation for the support. According her, consistent hard work and passion is key to success.

“I would like to tell all college-going Tibetan students to be attentive during the lectures on a daily basis and be consistent.” the report quoted Tseten as saying, who also added, “Thanks DoE on behalf of so many students, in shaping many futures and for the constant support.”
